It's an encouraging start and some interesting preliminary findings, but these types of studies only really feed into larger, meta findings as the cohort of participants appears quite small and representative of a particular demographic. I had originally tried a 'small meals' for my own fasting approach (so a small breakfast, snack at lunch, and small dinner) and I found it just didn't work for me. This time around I've been just having dinner and a small snack afterwards with fluids all day long and it's working for me. I reckon it's about sustaining your own WOF which will help see results. (Which others have stated here on these forums.)

I get the feeling that whatever the diet/weight loss/health approach you undertake, being able to stick with it is the most critical factor of all. Stickiness wins the day!

Not at all Sassy, I was really interested to hear what you had to say, although having camped in a campervan in those temps, I have plenty of sympathy for you!!!
I struggle to go right through the day which is why I was curious as to how you did it on 500 cals. I have never bothered looking at books and struggled through as generally when I start eating I tend to keep going, so I am better off not starting!
Total agree with the chocolate, totally my downfall!
