I've noticed when reading the forums that people moan about their scales. I bought these a few weeks ago and they are great. I am pretty sure they are the same as MM uses on the documentary. I just checked and they are still reduced:-

http://www.amazon.co.uk/?_encoding=UTF8 ... gforcec-21 is the link for giving a benefit to this site I think, then search for omron body fat scales
which model did you go for? BF511 or BF508? I understand that BF511 has a few more features such as Skeletal muscle readings and Resting metabolism rate but wonder whether they are worth the extra cost.
Hello,

I got the BF511. It depends what info you want from them doesn't it?
I think the BF508 would tell you all you need to know.
I got the BF508 in October soon after I started 5:2. It's quite obvious that the body fat percentage results are not hugely accurate as they can change quite a bit if you measure yourself twice in a row but they have been falling over the months along with my weight, as has the visceral fat reading, which is all encouraging.
Omron BF511 Turquoise Family Body Composition Monitor currently cheaper than usual - link in first post
