Intermittent Fasting for Weight Loss: How "IF" Took My Weight Off, and Has Kept It Off For 8 Years!
by Alicia Albertson (25 pages)
Diets, diets everywhere.
Those of us not blessed with the "skinny" gene (especially as we get older) are prone to try them all.
But fasting??
Yes! Intermittent fasting entered my life at various stages, for various reasons, and in various capacities. Now that I'm middle aged, my experiences have shown me something that some people (who think fasting is too extreme) find rather shocking...
I actually find intermittent fasting much easier to do and maintain as a lifestyle than "traditional" dieting! - AND (along with regular exercise) I love how it makes me look and feel.
In fact, I've never felt better, I've never looked better. My young daughter even recently told me that I "look beautiful" (what further proof do I need than that!)
After some trial and error, I've found an intermittent fasting schedule that works for me (but it's by no means the only intermittent fasting schedule that CAN work - you just have to find a schedule and routine best suited for you).
And the best part?
I never count calories! I eat basically what I want, when I want on my non-fasting days (as long as it's in moderation and I don't binge), because I know that right around the corner is another fasting period that will flush out any extra calories - so I eat basically freely the vast majority of every month.
Is this intermittent fasting sustainable you ask?
Well, I've been on this intermittent fasting schedule for the past eight years. So I guess the answer has to be (at least for me) - YES!
Come on along, and I'll tell you my story and my secrets!
