those wondering about breakfast

I read this interesting article the other day and thought it might be good to share.

I have adopted some of the things mentioned.
Great article thank you very much.
It is written in very plain English, and just verify s all we are doing.
I for one am going to continue as the health benefits seem to be very well documented.
I want to be around and healthy when my grandchildren come along.
At the rate mine are going that probably won't be for several years!!
Interesting article. Many thanks.
Very interesting. Isn't Fructose the sugar in fruit? I've never been a great fruit eater, mainly as I try to eat local/seasonal, so there isn't much UK fruit around for most of the year.
Well that was a well written piece, and given me pause for thought.
Following the links from that page leads to an intriguing piece from the guy who was apparently the first write a book advocating IF 'the Warrior Diet'.
http://fitness.mercola.com/sites/fitnes ... efits.aspx
He compares different IF protocols and concludes the 'Four hour feed window/one late meal per day' is best. I've read that what the ancients did, but I'd still l;ike to see solid research. My hunch is that if the body has plenty of protein for cell division in the key overnight stage it won't enter the famous 'repair mode'
Thanks for posting the links! I got the Warrior Diet from the library, and although it's not got a lot of science in there, it does sound interesting and do-able to me. I'm terrible at counting calories and it's not necessary so long as I limit snacks during the day.

Has anyone else here tried it?
