Just out of interest, has anyone noticed any improvement in their health issues since following this WOL? think it might be another motivator for people (me) if they can see its more than weightloss. Thankyou

Hello, Sparklevergreen, have a look at my postings under 'bloods' around 14-15 March, for encouraging results.
WOW ,150lbs, what amazing results in just 6weeks, im really interested to see how this all pans out for you .thanks for sharing
Skin improved - probably from drinking lots of water
Craving veg. - also improving skin and giving me more energy
Digestion - definate improvement
Depression - Tentively saying that this has improved. I sometimes wake up after a fast and feel 'high'. I haven't experienced that feeling for years. If I continue seeing improvements like this I shall stay in the fast diet for life (maintaining on 6:1)

Hi
My 6 weeks bloods etc can be seen here.
I should be able to update them within the next couple of weeks.
I am now confident my BP is much better, I am consistently getting readings sub 120/80. However , I can’t say 5:2 is solely responsible for the BP improvement. I do believe it has contributed to the improvement along with exercise, diet, supplements, meditation, etc.

WOW, really dramatic results, so encouraging for people
I have suffered from pain in my right leg on and off for years. It had been getting progressively worse, and just after I started 5:2 I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my hips. This is one of the main reasons I want to lose weight now. Just this week I have been in much less pain, and have been able to cut down on the painkillers so that I am only taking paracetamol at night when the pain wakes me. I don't know if this is because of the fasting or not, but generally I'm feeling healthier than I have done for ages.
