Blood sugar & ketone data
25 May 2013, 08:12
Yesterday I monitored my blood glucose & (less frequently) ketones. Previously I have had high morning readings which led me to wonder if eating breakfast would be wise. This time it wasn't so high in the morning, and the 10 almonds I ate didn't seem to affect much at all.

Mid morning I had a Cadbury's Highlights with added cream. Lunch was a bambiburger (110g vension) with some black bomber cheddar on top. There were some carbs in the burger but it was probably the Highlights that did for the ketones.

I ate dinner at 9pm, had 5 Carr's melts crackers with butter and/or cheddar around 5.30.

Were the readings random or before you ate Phil?

Is it just me thats weird or do you find that you are more hungry on mornings when you have a mid-range FBG than the mornings when its low?

the readings were intended to be approximately on the hour. I ate immediately after the first reading and the noon reading with the Highlights drink at 11.

I don't really get hungry any more so can't say.
