I think exercise should be approached with the aim of having fun rather than the aim of losing weight. So, find something you love doing...and enjoy xx
I would say exercise for having fun and for your health. But yeah, alone it doesn't help with weight loss for most people.
Yes, agree, I found that to be true for myself. 7 years ago when I first embarked on self-improvement, exercise came first and although I did see improvement in my measurable health(labs, weight) initially, it was not sustainable beyond the first year. It was not until I combined nutrition and exercise that I saw sustainable health improvements.
Heh! How about you can't outrun a FAST diet!
I exercise for fun, being with like minded people who work hard and play hard. I also like to challenge myself every now and then Just for the hell or thrill of it.
Agreed that most of us here probably see a role for both.
I found the editorial unduly hyperbolic and its references are not only shoddy, they don't support what the authors claim for them.
