Weight Maintenance

3 posts Page 1 of 1
Like a few of the entries Ive read, I think my story will sound familiar.

Im a good, seasoned "dieter" but i struggle with maintenance. Now don't get me wrong, losing weight isn't "easy" but I can do it, and in the past4 years I've lost a total of 40 pounds, gained 20, and now I've lost 23 pounds. I've reached 132 pounds (my goal was 130, but this is close enough) and I want to start to maintain and keep it that way.

I'm hopeful this could work from me, reading everyone's experiences is really encouraging

I'm thinking of doing a 6:1 until the new year and seeing how that works; I did my first fast yesterday and the day was harder than I expected; I only had one big meal at middy! now I know I need something in the evening as well so I'll do two smaller meals of 250 calories each

Thank you to all of you on this forum, I joined yesterday and from what I've read, it seems such a wonderful, warm and encouraging environment!

Welcome to the maintenance squad. You can just try different ways to do a fast and see what feels best. Flexibility is one of the main advantages of '5:2', '6:1', '13:1' or whatever you need/like
Welcome, well done, and I look forward to seeing you in this group forever.
