Great to hear how well you are doing but why did you have to mention TOAST?

' cos it goes with the bacon

and I'm on a fast day

baking bread this afternoon as well, my masochistic side coming through
I can sympathise totally! I've lost a stone on 5:2 and my measurements are smaller but I still have a big wobbly tum. It must be smaller than it was but it doesn't look it. Thanks for the advice about Callanetics - I'll give that a go (although I don't have a great track record for doing exercises at home!)
Many, many grateful thanks Old Nog....RESULT....he's going to give it a go along with me, starting next Monday. Watch this space!!!!!!!

Brick outhouse, that took me back.....ours was up the garden with a high hedge outside for privacy....lovely to hear the birds singing whilst contemplating!!!!

Keep up the good work Old Nog :like:
Hi Kiki77

Thanks for your post, I am in a similiar situation myslef, og have opted for 5:2 diet in order loose that excessive belly fat, and have just finished 7th week. So far I dont have a great story to tell, in spite of following this WOE there is been absolutely NO change of measurements in any area. (I have lost 2 kgs, but then gained 1, so that the progress in not astounding.)

I have figured out that the belly area is just extremely stubbborn area, and it will take some (many) more weeks before the WOE wins. I myself am unable to do any cardio due to joint pains, and this diet is actually my only solution.

One thing though, I dont think women can compare belly fat loss stories with men, the location and physiology of fat deoposts in abdominal area is quite different in men and women, does anyone here shed a light on this?

Aayways, I am going to stick with the fasts, and give it at least 8 weeks more before I make a final judgement. So heres to plodding on

Thanks to everybody on this forum, It really keeps me motivated!
