Sorry if this has been posted before, I couldn't find it. I was just wondering what people's opinions were about fasting days: is eating 500 calories or nothing better? I know some people find it easier to eat nothing on fast days as it doesn't wake up the hunger per say, however I wasn't sure if eating 500 calories was supposed to do something to your metabolism? Like, will eating nothing put my body into the dreaded starvation mode? I think I would find it easier eating nothing because fast days I rarely get overly hungry anyway, but have been making myself have the 500 calories. Soo.. what's best?!
