Go Girl, you can do it :like:

We also get our Christmas tree on that day and decorate it. I am kind of in maintenance at the moment; but although I am still fasting twice a week I seem to have lost interest in my Thursday fasts and struggle to complete them. I love Golinda's idea of the competition. We don't tend to eat a huge amount at Christmas, maybe a few more sweets than usual and a bit more cheese!

Ooh, I'm Mr @Loulou51's twin. 21st Dec is my birthday too. And I've come here and found out that Christmas starts then. Woohoo!

Ps Sept is FAR too early to think about Christmas. Bah humbug...

Fingers crossed for you ..that sounds like a wonderfully Christmassy dress Jejum!
A good question!
The Progress Tracker indicates that I should achieve target of 10st 5lb before Christmas, but the date has been slipping...
So I'd be chuffed to be at target, and wearing the new dress I've promised myself!

GoLinda, that sounds a really good incentive!
I am flying to Thailand the 18th of December, so pad thai for christmas dinner for me! I am hoping to have reached 65 kg by then, which is 5,5 kg from now. My progress tracker tells me I can make it!
Christmas starts for me on the 20th November. Thats when one of my choirs starts singing carols at nursing homes. We have 10 gigs booked so far. They mostly require the wearing of Chrissie T shirts. Not the most flattering items of clothing! I currently own four, two size 16 and two size 14. At the moment the 16s fit well and the 14s are a bit snug. I'd like all of them to be roomy by then.
Under 200 lbs would be nice, but doubtful especially with Thanksgiving on the horizon!

To be able to fit into my clothes a little better is always a plus
Gosh yes..you Americans have first got Thanksgiving to contend with!
I love seeing the baby pic..i can almost hear this little one chuckling! What a sweetheart!
Thanks CandiceMarie! My little fella is 8 months today

I'm actually a Brit that moved over to the States over a decade ago!
I just think of it as another day to spend time with loved ones and eat lots of yummy foods
As long as I don't gain before xmas and then enjoy xmas as normal and go back on plan after boxing day and deal with any gains I'll be happy :)

I have no idea where I'll be at in December but I wont be anywhere near a target weight yet :)

I don't like roast dinners so we have an alternative in this house. It probably wont be any less fattening although I'm hoping due to my smaller appetite I will be eating less naturally as well :D
