Day One...
14 Nov 2013, 10:02
Today is my first day of fasting. So far i've had a black coffee and a bottle of fizzy water. Just 9 hours to go until I get to eat my 600 calories.

Great start! Keep busy (and drinking!) and the day will soon pass and just think how proud of yourself you'll feel. Best of luck! :clover: :clover:

Hi, the chaps seem to do really well on this, I think its that extra 100 cals, which when you have them will taste amazing!!

Nice pooch. A spot of walkies is just the thing when you need a distraction.

I drink litres of warm drinks on a cold day, enjoying a mid afternoon hot marmite drink around 3pm. :like:

Good for you :like:

What you got planned for your meal tonight ?

Hunger pains will come and go, you will learn they aren't so bad in the end

Just keep thinking positive thoughts, you CAN eat tomorrow... and once you have eaten tonight, thats it for the day, end of !

Pat yourself on the back, onwards with the next one

Good luck CP, you've already made a difference by starting!

I have to say that I find it easier to go without all day, rather than trying to have small amounts.

Today is a fast day for me as well, so tonights feast will be North African Eggs from Gordon Ramsey's book, which is a staple for me on fast days.

Thanks fixedwheel. Are you a cyclist by any chance?

Might have to have a look at that book
