What do you mean "that is all"??? surely you have something more to say such as "hurrah, hurrah, hurrah, hurrah" and lots of emoticons?
Well done you @hari_b! Have a gold too.
Hope to see you over at the maintenance tent where we will be wanting to hear all about your journey to goal and what your plans for maintenance are!

Thank you carorees, I don't think I really believe it yet I hit it 2 weeks ago and didn't want to tempt fate by posting too soon. I didn't have a huge amount to lose but it has taken a while and a lot of determination.
I definitely need the maintenance tent as I haven't a clue what to do now. I kept going and upped to 4:3 the last few month thanks to this forum and am so very happy to be under 9 stone for the first time in over 20 years.
Thank you to everyone here for sharing their wisdom xxx

Many congratulations to you and I look forward to following your progress in the Maintainers' Tent
Congratulations
@Hari_B well done you, many congratulations! Come to the monthly maintenance thread, I'm now completing my second month. So I'm a newbie too. Lots to learn for me,
Fantastic! Good for you!
Well done and welcome to maintenance. Join the lifers!
Congratulations!!
Congratulations @hari_b! You must be so pleased.
Do join us in the maintenance tent, the experience of other mainteneers is very valuable. There are lots of options for maintenance - have you read the information on this in the fasting library?
Regular weighing (despite all the problems we know with scales) does appear to be one of the strategies that helps. If you don't want to weigh, measure your waist regularly.
With food consumption, as you well know, it's about finding something that is sustainable for you.
What I am finding is that it is important to follow a strategy that helps you address those issues that caused you to carry excess weight in the first place (and I am still struggling with this a little). Quite a few people find eating windows work very well in this regard. Or cutting some foods out of your diet forever.
Anyway, well done, and best wishes for maintenance.

Thank you all for your kind comments.
My main problem is the feed days ... I don't know how to eat sensibly which is why I ended up with 4:3.
I have got to the stage where I (almost) prefer fasting to eating!
I can be very disciplined on my fasting days and kind of look forward to them as I don't have to think about what to eat. I have settled into a routine of loads to drink all day, If I'm hungry I just have another cup of tea and by the evening I sometimes don't want anything as I have gone past being hungry, but mostly I will have a whole 600ml carton of soup which is usually about 300 calories and occasionally have a small banana for a treat.
On my food days I have whatever I want, and that can be quite a lot of food! I haven't learned how to control myself, It's all or nothing with me!
I think I will start with 6:1 and maybe an eating window 5:2 and see how that goes. I will certainly be reading every maintenance post I can find for your ideas.
I don't have before and after photos as I don't look that different .... probably older lol! but I don't care as I feel happier in myself.
Congratulations!!!
A wonderful achievement, congratulations!
