@Claire23, can't reiterate enough others encouragement to be gentle with yourself & listen to your body. Eat when you're hungry on your non-fast days & use the oft cited mantra "I can have anything I want tomorrow" on your fast days.
It took time to get to where we are, it will take time to relearn the natural feelings of genuine hunger & fullness. If your plan helps you today, that's great, when its time to change it, that's the beauty of 5:2. It changes with you. You can so do this! I know because I'm doing it, & if I can, anyone can.
