Maybe Mr Mosley can do 800 calories, but us fat old ladies...nah.

We seem to share a very similar approach to our way of eating and how we handle 5:2. Your list of comments re fast days coincides exactly with my feelings, as does what you will and won't restrict on non-fast days. Good to know I have company!! Though I am a meat eater...

And I did mean to mention, in my first post in this thread, my condolences re Gandalf and your job situation. Not an easy time for you,
