Today is my fasting day but for breakfeast I had a soft pretzel with mustard (probably 300 cals) , since I can only have 600 I'll just skip lunch and eat dinner.. Do you think this is ok? Or should I be staying away from carbs on my fast day?
Hi Dxtra!

Many of us find that keeping away from carbs helps with reducing hunger and shifting into fat burning but others are happy to include carbs. I think you get filled up better with lots of vegetables and a bit of lean meat/fish, but if you are not experiencing hunger pangs then you can have your calories however you like really.

A long gap between meals is, we think, best for getting the extra health benefits, so skipping lunch is great! Many of us skip breakfast too!

You just have to experiment and see what suits you.

Good luck!
