General 5:2 and Fasting Chat

There we go...I'm making a cake for my daughter tomorrow and of course there was that buttercream...automatically, tested it! Oops Noooo it's fasting day lol

My first reaction was LOL..... :)

Its my second day and already was ready to eat pasta, before I realized its a Thursday and I promised myself for a fast....so planning that for tomorrow.
I very nearly did the same thing with some butter I got on my finger whilst putting it in the butter dish. Butter is so high in calories I worried that that one lick would have wiped out a whole meal!
If you lick your elbow three times the effect of the calories will be completely nullified.
Just made a cake for my little boy's birthday tomorrow and resisted the temptation to taste some of the cake mixture, it wasn't easy!
Sorry but you wouldn't be human if you DID NOT lick your finger whilst baking a cake! Enjoy the cake on your non fast day
Respect. I am in awe of you. I dunno how you can bake a cake when you're fasting.

I almost ate a bit of leftover apple today. it got to my lips before I remembered nil by mouth till 8pm
