I can't claim this as my own but my mum who told me about the 5:2 and has been on it for it for a few weeks saves all her calories for a big evening meal and has something along the lines of chicken breast and veg or stir fry.
Then she has either one of the shape dessert yogurts which are gorgeous or a small pot off yoomoo frozen yogurt which comes in tonnes of tasty flavours (were a dessert family you see).
Another tip she gave me is as she and myself are big black coffee drinkers. She keeps her 'good stuff' for the fast days, cafetiere and fresh ground coffee so it feels like a treat all day .
Myself, I had yesterday feast day; porridge with skimmed milk a little snack box of raisins and all spice for breakfast
Lunch was then half a pouch of micro tilde butternut squash and brown rice with feta and a couple of rivita and a yog.
(healthy huh).. then boyfiend came home with pizza, chips and garlic mayo for tea.
Today I am trying to stick to just having one meal so black coffee and then a big feta and beetroot salad and maybe a mini milk .
