Man V's Food
19 Mar 2013, 10:46
I have been on the diet for 4 weeks now and I am finding it quite easy and lost over 8 pounds. So very happy, yesterday I was fasting and I was fine until around 9pm and mu hubby put on Man V's Foood... BIG not to everyone do not watch this programme, I was drooling over fast food (which I normally am not bothered about). He had fried chicken, Chips and chilli, pizza's, burgers and in the end I had to go to bed and went to bed dreaming of food. NOT doing that again!
he he he
Woke up fine this morning!

Haha, Man VS Food is amazing, I can't believe some of the 'meals' they serve up for him!

I actually quite enjoy the challenge of watching food shows when I'm fasting. I remember in my early fasting days Masterchef was on and I found it difficult seeing all the lovely puddings they'd cook! It's on again now though and I'm finding it much easier :)

I haven't seen Man vs Food but have been torturing myself on fast days with Masterchef and My Kitchen Rules. Thank goodness The Biggest Loser has started!!!

I almost enjoyed watching Paul Hollywood baking last night on my fast - it all looked delicious, and sort of made up for a minimum food day.

Can't wait to have a go at the malt loaf though!

Don't tempt me Minumonline - I love malt loaf thick with butter! I have given it up for a few weeks but might have to treat myself to some at Easter - together with some lovely hot cross buns....

Sorry but I bake when fasting! I always make my own stuff and enjoy doing it. I have amazing will power on fast days but none on feast days!

Man V Food - you can tell how far through the series they are by the amount of weight he's carrying!

He had to stop doing them in the end.

I love that programme though.

I love Man V Food and have quite a crush on Adam Richman! I read once that he doesn't eat anything the day before a challenge and works out twice a day. Can you imagine how big he'd be if he didn't?!

Supersize vs Superskinny is on when I'm on a fasting day. That's quite good to watch, because even though some of the food is of the tempting variety, they point out why you shouldn't eat too much of it. It makes you feel like you're doing the right thing.
