I have been doing 5:2 for 6 months and had lost about 12 pounds during the first 4-5 months. I was happy with this as I felt good and it was easily maintainable.
However, for the past 6 weeks I had been stuck and not lost anything. I know 6 months is a crucial point where you often plateau so I tried not to worry or give up.
Last week I could only fast on one day due to other engagements and AT LAST I think the plateau has broken I got on the scales this morning and have lost 3 pounds. At Last
I hope my experience can help some of you as I have received so much help and inspiration on this forum,
Fasting today and feeling very positive. Good luck everyone. Stick at it. Sometimes it is slow going but it is a way of life and very manageable. I want this weight to come off and stay off so I'm in it for the long haul. Almost at my healthy bmi now
