General 5:2 and Fasting Chat

:-D
the first week I did 4:3 but I am told the results are broadly similar between 5:2 and 4:3. 4:3 is easier so I am going with that.... You should do what feels right for you (as long as you don't have an eating disorder)
Although my first thought on 5:2 was that I would never fast during the weekend I realised that when I go out on a Saturday I wake up in the afternoon of Sunday so I spend half the day sleeping instead of feeling hungry (if it's a fast day).
Yes, it will be less than a 36-hours fast since I eat and drink till 6 or 7 am but still, better that than nothing. It won't be one of my 2 regular fasts anyway, just an addition to them.
