Pizza has to be a sin. It's a sin if it's not a sin, LOL!

Today was brilliant! I did fast all day and then had the Padana Leggera pizza / salad (500cal), with sparkling water, followed by fresh mint tea - deeeeelicious!

I love 5:2 - I enjoyed a lovely evening out with a friend (we chatted non-stop!) all on a fast day!! :)

Brilliant!

That made me laugh.

P.S. I am going out to buy some berries! Good idea.
Well done Doodle! A great example of how you can fit 5:2 into your life. :like:
I'm inspired Doodle - really glad it worked - will do that next time I take the kids out on a fast day.
Doodle, that's great! Good to know it's possible to fast and still enjoy a night out. Wish more restaurants would catch on and offer a 500 cal meal. I do tend to agree with Rufus and TML13 that pizza with a hole in it doesn't sound great, but I'd try it now youve recommended it. Was it filling?
Well I really enjoyed it - check out their website. I guess we all have different tastes.
It filled me up - along with the sparkling water and the fresh mint tea.
Well done Doodle *cheers*
Definitely want to try this pizza. sounds great. i wonder how many cals it would have been with the middle in?

And if you never ate a Pizza Express Pizza Leggero, you would not know how delicious it was. I was quite pleased with myself actually.

Good job on maintaining your fast and your social life, Doodle.

My opinions about the pizza, however, remain firm. I live in Boston. Very serious about pizza here.

I love berries. I always break my fast with fresh bowl of berries, strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, raspberries. I leave them on the counter so they are waiting for me when I wake up. It is what I live for on fast days. So delicious with plain yogurt and walnuts on top too. (Can you tell I'm fasting today... so hungry right now.)

Hahaha!!!
I live in Athens. We're the same with Boston regarding pizza. ;-)
Today was my fasting day and I had pizza for my evening meal. Two pieces of thin crust spinach pizza (430 cal). I love to be able to look ahead at the restaurant and work the meal into my fast day. I switched my fast day once when I knew I was going out somewhere that couldn't provide an entree under 500 cal. This is week four for me. I love this plan!
Same dilemna for me today but I am moving my fast day this time because I can easily do it otherwise I would make the same decision.
