General 5:2 and Fasting Chat

I wonder if anyone with medical knowledge can help me, I am booked in to have blood tests on Wednesday morning, they are for FSH, LH and something I can't remember, basically hormone level/ menopause tests.
I usually Fast on a tuesday is there any reason that a Fast could have any implications for these tests?
Thanks in advance
There is a thread on it somewhere. I think the general advice is not to fast but try and be like the rest of the population who have the test and only fast overnight-if it is a fasting blood test. Carolees will sort you out
No, for those tests it shouldn't make any difference. I think it can make a difference for cholesterol tests for some people anyway.
Thanks Caroline,
I couldn't think why it should have an effect, but I thought I'd get a second opinion.
Fasting tomorrow in that case
