General 5:2 and Fasting Chat

I like the idea of 2 non-fast 1 fast, ownedbycats. It's the third non-fast day that throws me off. It might be a good way for me to ease off 4:3. I also don't mind fasting on random days, it ends up that way a lot anyway.
I started the 5:2 last week and got on better than I thought and I am actually quite looking forwars to my next fast day.Think for me with years of dieting and always thinking about food, fast days appeal to me as I can turn off from food till dinnertime then turn back off again.

Even though I have only been doing this one week (started last Tue) and fasted on Tue and Thu. I feel that I need that consistency that people are talking about with 4:3 so I am going to try 3 fast days this week, Tue,Thu and Sat and see how I get on.

No weigh in yet as I wanna try go a month without weighing myself.
