This is my 2nd fast of the week & I've only started this WOE on Monday.. Had my first fast tues which went fine but today I'm starving!!!! Planning on one meal at 5/6pm ish so ill occupy myself with housework till then as I'm not working today.. Just got back from the grocery shop which was tortute lol... My feast day yesterday was good but Didnt eat much as I found I just didn't want anything & had to force myself to eat some pasta for dinner that's a feeling I've never had before!!.. Looking forward to a meal with a few drinks tomorrow which is what's getting me through today!!.. Thought I'd gym it in the morning before eating then a banana when I get home so that leaves plenty of calories for a nice meal & drinks.. I'm planning another fast on Sunday which will be 3 this week as I have a night out Saturday & I know ill consume more food & alcohol than normal that night... But so far so good & roll on my dinner

Keep going. I'm hungry too. But after each fast it gets easier I found. I'm looking forward to a spicy lentils soup tonight. Chopping onions and garlic right now . It will get easier and I start to like the feeling of hunger.Xx

Yes, I found that when I had only one feast day between fasts, the second fast day was harder. And yet some people do two fast days in a row! I wonder if it is something to do with not eating so much on the first day after a fast and so not having replenished one's energy stores?

Yes, I'm doing Tues + Thurs too (and it's my first week, also!), and find I'm a lot hungrier today. But I'm actually enjoyng the feeling in a strange sort of way whenever a wave of hunger hits. It's like a reminder that something good is happening, that something must be working. And then it fades away again. Hope you're feeling okay.
Yeah I agree I think I didn't eat enough yesterday had about 1500 calories as I use my fitness pal too... My sedentary TDEE is about 1850 calories.. I could have eaten more but then I'd of just been eating for the sake of it & wanna try stop that.. Maybe I should have had a bigger bowl of pasta lol... Anyway I won't be giving.. I'm looking forward to a chicken Breast rubbed with peri peri herbs & half a potatoe with veg.. Wouldn't have one with only a day of eating in between but in out tomorrow & sat so today was the only day.. All for about 450 calories... Good luck Emm with your first week too!!.. I definitely feel alot better for doing this & it's only 1 day so we will survive lol...

It gets easier trust me! I've just had my 6th fast (yesterday) and up to about my 4th i wanted to give up or just thought i was going to pass out and die!
I started on 2 x 250cal meals, i have only just gone onto 1 x 500cal meal at dinner time. You are very hardcore going straight for the one meal and will find it easier after a few more fast days...
Tips:
Brush, floss your teeth and use mouthwash - it makes your mouth feel so clean it puts you off eating!!
Stay away from anything food related - don't browse recipes or talk about food.... it will start to destroy you!!
If doing this to lose weight look at photo's of yourself at your largest and smallest weight and remind yourself of why you are doing this.
Have a bubble bath, read a book, watch a film, sort out a cupboard, do some housework - ANYTHING to take your mind off it for the next two hours...

Thanks good advice!!.. Tuesday I did spread my 500 cals out over 3 small meals but mainly as I was up at 0430am for work & it was my first fast I though it was wise to, whereas today I'm off work so though I'd give the one meal thing a bash but deary me it's hard & I learned do not food shop on these days either lol that was horrible.. Anyway I've done the house work so gonna have a nice black coffee which luckily I drink anyway that'll keep me going till dinner at 5/6pm... Want to lose about another 7lbs then that will have been a loss of 3st all together but I'd also like to lose body fat to look more lean & from what I read this is the WOE to do it!! My BF has decided to do it today too just as an experiment so that's good.. Roll on tomorrow lol
