Working it all out..
05 Feb 2013, 22:51
Hi I'm new to the diet and this site, I started on the 1st but I'm not weighing in until Saturday 9th, I'm nervous as other diets have always failed me,
However I would appreciate some advice - since starting the fasting - I tend to eat around 2pm/4pm and that's the only time i will eat on a fast day ( so think, if I'm working it out right I'm doing around 35 hours of a fast from the dinner the night before through to the breakfast the day after)
However I'm struggling to work out when I'm actually hungry now on 'feast' days, I can easily go until 2pm again without eating the day after my fast day?! Is this normal..
I'm a massive comfort eater and always picking so this is the complete opposite of my usual behaviour, should I just make myself eat breakfast lunch and dinner on my feast day? Even if I'm not that hungry??

Any feedback would be appreciated!

Just go with what your body says. It's eating when not hungry that got us all into this mess in the first place!

Hi
I know How you feel its strange that you don't feel hungry but in all honestly if your body’s not bothered then your brain has a panic thinking my god can't go with out. I got this the first few times and I still do on occasion. I've lost 3 stone ignoring my brain so try it and see. It takes time to get used to the feeling.
