Fasting days

What's the best way of choosing your Fast Day?

I know that I shouldn't fast on consecutive but as I don't work the same hours every week I'm not sure where to start.

I'm a community care assistant and do either 8-1, 12-5 or 5-10 working 5 out of 7 days. I never get the same days off per week either.

I'm thinking that Monday and Thursday would work well as my fast days.

Any advice??

When I read the book it seemed that Mondays and Thursdays are advised. Presumably as that is spaced out quite well in the week.
However, this week I'm doing Monday and Wednesday as I have a long drive tomorrow and not sure I want to do that while fasting.
Personally, I'm going to try and do Monday and Thursday unless there is something in the diary which makes it unsuitable, like Valentine's day. I'm blowed if I'm not tucking in then!!!!
Good luck

You don't have to do the same days every week, just choose whatever suits you that week. I generally do Tues and Fri because I want them spaced out and on Mondays and Thursdays I have to take my DS to various clubs meaning I wouldn't get to eat until 8pm. As I will have fasted since 6.30 the previous night I don't really want to wait so long to eat. However, when I have had events on a Tues or Fri, I just change my days.
