And if so how many??

Thanks :P
0cal?
Great that was what I was hoping, thanks!!
I think there are 1 or 2 calories floating around in there, but no point counting them.
Agreed 1-2 cals is less than trivial in the overall scheme of things, but could even pretty low amount of calories push the body out of 'fasting mode' (burning glycogen er er, something like that anyway). How 'total' should a 'total fast' be?
Haven't we had this discussion somewhere? I think someone found a suggestion that up to 10 cals at any one time would be OK maybe more. 10 cals lets you have 5 cups of coffee...more than enough for one coffee break surely?
Hmm, yes I think we did but I don't remember the outcome. I found this link which quotes Brad Pilon for the opposite view, though...
Hmm...I still can't see how 1-2 calories could possibly break you out of the fasted state. I'm having a mug of vegetable stock for 5 cals right now, anyway.
OMG, 5 calories - DON'T DO IT!!! :D
Toooooo laaaaate.....Arrgh
