General 5:2 and Fasting Chat

I weigh on a Saturday (fast on Mons and Thurs) - but don't think it matters too much as long as it's consistent. For me I'd rather not weigh after a fast day so if I had to change my fast day to a Friday, I'd then change my weigh day to the Sunday. Hope it goes well for you
I think the weekly variation will really come into play when we reach target weights. We should probably aim to go a bit below the target weight on 5:2 before adjusting to a maintenance system to ensure we maintain the target weight rather the slightly heavier post weekend/ mid week weight. Frangalais has found she gained a bit on 6:1, but I wonder if its actually just maintenance of her slightly heavier weight rather than an actual gain.
I weigh on a Sunday morning because my fast days are Monday & Friday & I wanted a day in between a fast day & weighing. I know I would be lighter after a fast day but that feels rather unrealistic because I will just go up when I eat anyway. Plus it is motivating for the beginning of the week on Monday or depending how I have done depressing but I've got the rest of a new week to build in more exercise or fewer calories
I jump on the scales everyday but my "official" weigh in day is Wednesday.
