Whats your weighing in day??
11 Feb 2013, 18:44
Just wondering when people tend to have a weigh. I'm in the habit of a friday which will now be the day after my fasting day. Does it matter? :?:
I always weigh in on a Friday, which is also the day after my fasting day.

I don't think it matters particularly, as all the weight loss will be relative. I think it would be more of a problem if it was sometimes after a fasting day and sometimes after a feed day as there would be a lot of up and down due to the different eating styles of the different days.

Does that make sense?
Mine is on a Saturday. I don't weigh at any other time because I just find it fluctuates too much from day to day and then I get disheartened.
Thanks beaueliz and jemima, its interesting to know what other people do. Think I will stick to fridays as I have been weighing in on this date for ages.
I fast on a Monday & Thursday and weigh in once a week on a Monday. It's the start of the week so my motivation is high and I also feel that as it's after three days feasting then any weight loss is truely fat loss. The other thing is that further down the line if my weigh plateaus then I can switch to a Tuesday weigh in to give me a boost!
Saturday for me as it's usually after a fast day. However, I have to confess that if I don't like what I see, I weigh again on Sunday - just in case Saturday was a blip! (it was once ;-))
I weigh in on a Sunday morning. It motivates me to be relatively 'good' during Saturday and because Sunday is the first day of my dieting week I feel motivated not to eat to excess. My fasting days are Monday and Thursday - now into my third week and have dropped 7.5 lbs - from a total hoped-for target of 21.5lbs.
On all my other diets I've always weighed on a Monday, but now I thought no approach new weigh in day, so mines is going to be Fridays, after my 2 fast days and relatively good normal eating days and before the week/end.
I always weigh on a Friday because I fast on Tuesday and Thursday, that way I should be at my lightest first thing on Friday - though I'm sure that is only psychological.
Monday usually, but I did not like what I saw today (a slight gain!) so I am wondering if I should switch to Friday after my week's fasting.
I'm a first Sunday of the month weigher. Sunday is the begining of the working week here so everyone goes out and it's back to normal. It's my regular fast day too with the other day being a movable non feast. Also tend to measure on a Sunday and do that more often. Having said that, neither has happened since the beginning of March. Will wait until May now.
I weigh on a Tuesday which is the day after my first fast of the week. I don't think it matters as long as you stick to weighing at the same day and time each week for consistency.
I have been weighing in every Sunday but after a few weeks of going up and down I am now planning on weighing just once a month on the first Sunday. Next weigh in in my diary for 5th May - 2 days before I go on holiday so fingers crossed for a good result!!
I weigh myself every Friday morning. I fast Mondays and Thursdays so Friday seems to be my lowest weight point across the week, giving me a consistent downward graph line. But I know I go up and down between Fridays.
I too fast Mondays (except this week) and Thursdays so I weigh on a Friday morning. Based on other moments when I unofficially try out the scales I reckon Friday morning usually gives the lowest reading, the disadvantage is that when/if I stop 5:2 I know my weight will rise by up to 2kg because my non-fasting weight is that much higher anyway.
