Benefits & Side Effects

I still drink more than I should, and I have no plans to quit drinking. But I must say I seem to have started to just "have enough", and stop drinking instead of just carrying on, and I definately don't have the same urge to eat loads of snacks together with the wine either. It's an improvement, and I don't think I've had to work for it, it just happened.
I haven't notice any change in how I drink alcohol since fasting - however I try not to drink during the week, although some weeks (like this one) I will have the odd beer or finish the weekend's wine bottle (usually only one glass left).

The biggest thing that keeps me from drinking too much is my very temperate husband - he drinks and enjoys a good proper ale and decent wine too, but he won't have much. Usually a couple of glasses or one or two beers is enough for him and although I do drink more than him it does help to not have someone tempting me to have 'just one more'. He's a good influence!!
