Last time I lost weight I swore it would be for good and got rid of all my "fat" clothes, the weight went back on and I had to invest in some bigger sizes. I've still got the smaller ones and my aim is to get back into them or go on a spending spree when I reach my target. My work clothes are starting to get a big baggy on the waist but I can still keep my trousers up, just !!

I would hold out a bit longer. I too have gone for the belt & also gone back into trousers which were too tight. It's great isn't it!

I love buying new clothes in sales even though I have smaller clothes waiting for me to fit into them. I find it very motivating having something new to aim to get into. I'm rather hooked on buying, cheap sale price, beautiful jackets in smaller sizes from Viyella that I really look forward to wearing. I will feel such a sense of achievement when I do.

Tidying out my wardrobe I found 2 pairs of trousers that were bound for the charity bag (way too tight a few months ago). Tried them on and they are fine now! Hooray!

I would go with the people who say get a few new clothes (jeans or pants, especially) that fit maybe even a tad snug. It really helps you feel good. You get those compliments from people and are encouraged to keep going. It's worth the relatively small sum.

I went out to the garage and got the size 16 jeans from the late 90's...complete with label. Put them on, got them done up with the largest muffin top ever!

OH was mildly horrified but it does prove a couple of points, that the lardiness goes watery and that I'm definitely thinner than I've been for 15 years.
