No it's not normal to combine the two diets. You are reducing calories far too much and it won't help you to lose weight in the long term because it's not sustainable. It might even impede weight loss in the short term. You need to eat normally for your current weight on non-fast days. Because you have been dieting for a while you may find a temporary increase in weight when starting 5:2 but this should pass.

You are double counting, 5:2 gives you a calorie restriction so that you lose weight. Combine it with a calorie restricted diet on other days and you'll be averaging under a 1000 calories a day, starving yourself so your body will stop you losing weight or at the very least, slowing your metabolism.

Don't mix diets, at least for a month as this WoE is often slow and not visible for a month or so. Check the tracker out for a realistic idea of how you'll lose weight.
