I must say that a couple of months in my sleep on fast days is improving - slowly. I've taken to having a herbal tea at bedtime, one designed to promote sleep. It's no extra calories either.

I have to be careful what I drink on fast days. I recently re-commenced drinking black coffee and the lack of food on a fast day seems to open the floodgates to let the caffeine really affect me so I can't drink more than one cup on a fasting day. Strangely, I only get affected by the caffeine in coffee... I don't get any bother from necking green tea all day!

I sleep terribly on fast days! I save all of my calories until dinner, and that helps a little.

Sometimes I leave frozen croissants to proof on the counter overnight, knowing I can bake them as soon as I wake up in the morning really helps.

But yeah, tossing and turning for sure on fast nights.

I am lying in bed like an owl. Just can't get over to sleep. Have logged back on again hoping I will get tired out. I think it may have been the coffee at 9pm. I've to get up at 6.30 for work. I'm going to be exhausted.
