I'm on the wrong continent never mind country.
Will be back in the summer though...
Hope you all have a great time and keep a wee space for me
Sadly I can't make the meet up. :frown: but I'll watch the excitement rise on this thread over the next month
Oh my gosh,so jealous..will enjoy vicariously alongside@lizbean from the sidelines x
Yea I am on the sidelines wishing you all a wonderful meet up
As usual, I look forward to photographic evidence!

Bean
Just bumping this up. I am looking forward to meeting a few of you. My DH and I have booked a large house in Nethybridge to have a large family get together with our sons and their families I have told them all I will miss the first day. Are we meeting for lunch or for morning coffee then lunch. My feeling is that with folks coming from quite far afield lunch may be better but I am happy to go with the flow.
I am happy to meet for coffee and see what everyone else wants to do after that

Booked my train tickets. My sister and I will travel into Edinburgh by train and hope to have a wee bit of time to wander round the shops. Other than that I'm happy to meet wherever and whenever. Did you know that there is a sigh post in Waverley station that says 'meeting place' and that is where I met my OH on a blind date  .

Oh I love the thought of having a blind date at a 'sigh post'......especially as you went on to marry the man you obviously sighed over! @Wildmissus I know it was the predictive text monster but I thought it was lovely nevertheless

I'm well jel (as they say!!) of your get together. It all sounds rather jolly!!
I will research my train times tonight. I'm happy to meet up at Waverley station and go for coffee, maybe lunch, I think @alf will be looking into possible eateries? I would love to see your 5:2 tee-shirts, I'll be wearing my Fast-5 ID again, @ballerina
Hi

Plenty of places on George Street, which is nice and central. Most of them will be a 5-10 minute walk from the station. I haven't looked at menu's or prices but have a look and see what you think
