I have kept some clothes from when I was much smaller & I would love to be able to fit into a pair of pink jeans & a snazzy pair of red trousers. I am hoping that when I eventually can get into them that I won' t look too ridiculous wearing them. ;)
Last time I was small was in the seventies, glad I didn't save any of those clothes lol.
I've had to buy new stuff as Ive started work and my old work cloths just didn't fit. I bought one pair of trousers that are a size smaller. So once a month I try them on to see how I am getting on. I can now get them fastened (Just). Hopefully I will be able to breath in them soon!!!
I have a pair of jeans in a size 12 that I'm hoping to get back into.
I try them on every weigh in day. Like you I can JUST get the button done, and hope that this time next month I can get into them comfortably.
I'm seriously thinking about ditching my 14's when my 12's fit.
I've always gone between a 12 and 14 since I had my children.......the youngest is 23 this month!!
Hi Bellalou,

My daughter is 20years old I've gone from a size 26 to a size 20 since I started on 5:2.
I've always been big the smallest size I can remember being in is 16 ! :o

I'm hoping to pass that into unknown territory
My weight is bad at the moment as I have hurt my ankle and its twice the size.
Still going to put weight on tracker Sat morning to see the damage lol

That's fantastic jacqiann. It makes me feel like crying when I read about people like yourself who have lots to lose and are doing so well.
I don't mean to be patronizing when I say that.
Good luck. You'll be back in these size 16's in no time I'm quite sure. X
I have a pair of Size 16 jeans that used to fit me really well and so I got a couple of pairs, one with the labels still on it. Chucked all the rest of my clothes but kept these for about 12 years so hopefully I'll fit them later this year.

Was a size 14 once briefly (trying to stay there was my undoing) but that's too small for me, happy to be a 16 again.
I lost a few stone a couple of years ago on low carb and gradually got rid of size 16 stuff and started getting size 14 and 12 for my top half. Then I put all the weight back on so had to get some new size 16 stuff and put the smaller clothes to the back of the wardrobe. Couldn't bear to get rid as I hoped I might lose the weight and keep it off at some point.

I've managed to lose weight again through this WOE and I have several pairs of size 14 trousers from a couple of years ago - two pairs I can wear comfortably and a few I could wear but would look awful in and a couple that probably wouldn't get past my thighs  Every so often I get a pair out to try and then put them back!

They aren't particularly lovely trousers but I would see it as a mark of progress if I could wear them comfortably! Still getting there slowly. ;)
well done all !!!
I have 3 wardrobes!!!!!!!......My fat wardrobe....my 'thats the size Ive normally been for years ......and my skinny 'you must be joking you will never be that small again' wardrobe
My normal wardrobe is in my bedroom.....then I eat my way up to my fat wardrobe in the spare room....go on a diet....and slim back down into my normal one....been yo -yoing like this for years!!!!!.....but in the study lurks another wardrobe....seriously...it contains clothes, some still with the labels on ....that I have never ever fitted into......clothes I have bought promising myself that I will slim into....clothes that I bought telling myself that if I lost just another half stone I would look great.....never ever made it...always failed and eat my way back up through my wardrobes!!!!!.....but look out skinny wardrobe...this time Im after you....and when at last I fit into these clothes and the zipper finally goes up...I will bin each in turn and finally put the ghosts of my failed diets to rest !!!!!!
Virginia you are a lady after my own heart. I also have overflow wardrobes of smaller size clothes that I couldn't bear to throw out. Also clothes I have bought still complete with the labels that I'm sure that I will fit into one day. Sadly they have been awaiting this WOE in great hope that will put my yo yo dieting away once & for all. Plus all those lovely clothes are waiting to be worn :D so I don't really need to buy any more
Have a pair of red trousers that I used to wear when I met my OH about 9 years ago - the style is a bit out of date now but they used to fit so nice, would love to get back into them again!
I don't have any small clothes that I'd like to fit into as I haven't been skinny in decades, but I just chucked two pairs of jeans into a charity donations skip as they were ridiculously huge after five months of 5:2!
Isis I am determined that this WOE is the end of all my yo yo diets too.....perhaps we should have a giant clothes sale at the end of this and donate the proceeds....oh and I can donate a few spare wardrobes that I wont have any need for too !! lol
I have loads of clothes I would love to wear again. Most given to me by my daughter who has a good job and buys good clothes. I got into them then and I will not throw them out as I love them and want to get into them again. I suppose that should be a good thing to aim towards. Onwards and upwards (or downwards)!
I would like to fit into the other 99% of my wardrobe - down to 2 pairs of jeans and 2 pairs of work trousers!
I have a beautiful pair of Valentino jeans, brand new that I got in an op shop ages ago. They are my guage of how big I am and whether they fit over my stomach/thighs!
I shall be trying them on when I get home next week to measure progress!
