Might end up with Cuthbert or Egbert! xxxx

And what, may I ask is wrong with the name 'BERT?' we have our own lovely Bert on here, AKA @Silverdarling

Ballerina x
I know Bal@Ballerina! And our @silverdarlingis the most gorgeous glam Bert i've ever seen! X
My friends used to call me Catbert in my previous job - but that is another story........ So very happy it is the weekend although my only plans are to get my head into my studies (chemistry at the moment). I'm very happy to have done this before or else I would be finding it very hard via distance learning. It's funny how quickly things come back. Summer is still here - it is going to be 30 deg today. Funny though I'm really missing autumn - it's my favourite time of year.
I love chemistry @rawkaren Biochemistry not the other sort. I tell them at work that chemistry is a mystery to me, mix one clear liquid with another, it changes but you can't see it. You have to believe them. I like to see the lot, that's why I'm a biologist.
yes it is much easier @carieoates when it comes to seeing how things behave in relation to things that are actually living! It's really nice though to do something different to work.
oh dear - I have had my knickers on inside out today - must try harder!

On Anglesey at the moment - yesterday with @Pennyforthem and her OH at the Anglesey Oyster (and food) Festival. Chutneys and pickles were sampled, all in the pursuit of research I might add ... As were oysters (crispy fried, with tartare sauce) cheese, crabmeat, chocolate ... And salted caramel fudge squares.) but not the glass of champagne that they were offering with the oysters - it was £10 a glass! :curse:

@Madcatlady - hope the skirt was not tucked into the knickers !
Now THAT would be a vision to behold, although my predictive text preferred behind
@madcatlady don't worry, i often go out with a jumper or top on inside out by mistake! -whhich is more noticeable than knickers!Years ago,at the school gates, a mum told me this story...
She got up one morning in a rush to get to an appointment, and threw on the jeans she'd left by her bedside the night before..as she flew along the High Street with her 3yr old on her way to the appointment, the 3 yr old kept trying to say something and her mother kept shushing her. When they got to their destination and could stop to get their breath ,the woman realised that the tights she'd worn the previous day were stuck inside her jeans..and she'd hurried along with the tights trailing out of the bottom of her jeans...as the 3 yr old had been trying to tell her! X
In my teaching days, I once wore a dress inside out all day and no-one told me! I only realised in the staffroom at the end of the day! The staff all denied having noticed but I'm not sure that I believe them!
I have also suffered from the tights down the jeans problem, although mine weren't trailing - just making a huge unsightly bulge at the back of my thigh!
Years ago I remember having to rush to get a bus on a Sunday morning. Whilst sitting on the bus I could feel a bulge at the top of my thigh.....it was the previous days knickers stuck in my jeans.

And....one time I shouted to OH to bring in the washing as it was raining. He did so and even managed to fold the clothes and put some of his away. The next day at work he phoned me to tell me that he was sitting on the train with pegs still attached to the bottom of his boxers!!! I had never laughed so much.
Oh well at least that started a little conversation!
 soo oo funny @wildmissus and @stowgateresident!
Ive just remembered, when i was young and very dizzy, going to work without noticing that i was wearing odd shoes...one had quite a low chunky heel...the other was a high heel!
No idea how i failed to notice this all the way to the bus stop, getting on / off bus, walking to the office and up the stairs...i got into work and someone pointed it out by saying," I like your shoes" ! :curse:
