um, would it be possible to not have the scantily clad, overtly sexual, men only adverts pop up on my forum feed please? Grandchildren do not need to see these

Just ordered 3 poppies from the Tower of London display - wondered if anyone else was getting one?
We are slipping people. 7 days and nothing on this thread! Here is a lovely photo of some flowers I received today at the office from OH. They are for our anniversary. The first one we have spent apart in 26 years. It did my reputation no good at all in the office today as a)they are all blokes and b)in the 26 years, he has never sent flowers to the office. so it made me cry.
He knows I adore only white flowers. That's all I have around the house and these are the same flowers I had in my bouquet when we got married all those years ago.

Many congratulations @rawkaren, he's missing you for sure, and that's great after 26 years together.
BTW, just read an article on the possible dangers of bulletproof coffee as a meal substitute, from Marksdailyapple pop-ups on my Facebook feed. Worth a read.
Have a happy day folks, my sixth 16:8 day calls :0)

Dilbert for @rawkaren
Congratulations @rawkaren! What is remarkable to me is that he remembered which flowers you had in your bouquet 26 years ago!!!

Aw @Rawkaren how lovely! Happy anniversary
Just want to say that I think this web site is absolutely outstanding with regards to information on fasting. Although I have been summer fasting since 2012 (I intend to keep going this year) I never quite understood why weight plateaus and suddenly drops quite considerably. I have just come across this in: "Why the scales don't tell the truth"
Finally we get to fat loss! But it’s not what you think: as you are losing fat the body tends to increase the water content of the adipose tissue (your fat stores). When you lose fat you may notice that your fatty areas develop a softer, squishier appearance than before. This is an indication that fat has been lost and your body is storing water. Eventually, the body reduces the water held in the adipose tissue and you may experience the ‘whoosh’ effect, whereby you see a sudden drop in weight after days (or weeks) of weighing the same.
And of course, behind all of this you are losing actual fat, which will of course affect your weight on the scales but will likely be hidden by all the changes in body water going on until you have lost enough fat to ‘outweigh’ the water fluctuations.
Finally I understand, thank you to all those who created this site. I find myself squishing all sorts of "soft parts" in the hope it is just water.
