Not much I dislike, but LIVER!! That's the one food my palate refuses to budge on.. When my Mum was carrying me, she said she craved (and ate) raw liver, perhaps the overkill on that put me off!!
Psst, please don't tell Dhana but I hate Scotch and haggis!

Ballerina x

Oops I forgot that one! Hate the furry feeling it leaves on my tongue!
I was fed potted meat in gelatine. Horrid memories.
Cow's tongue in white sauce.
Chunks of smoked pork in soup with chunky beans.

I had to sit there for hours until it was gone. I would dry reach and I call it abuse now looking back.
Chicken offal floating in soup with semolina dumplings. I could see hte chooks feet along with its stomach in my soup.
I never did like slices of potato smothered with sliced onions and set in egg, but today do like scallop potatoes set with a different sauce, eggs just dont go well with onion. weird combo, that

I'm so glad I'm the cook now.
Zamale how horrendous for you, that really is some disgusting food you were forced to eat.

Never used to like celery till my OH got me eating it with cheese love it now. Tomotoes were another no way food but I love them too.

Can't eat Brussel Sprouts from childhood days even though I was allowed to smother them in butter.

I love hot and spicy food but a heat that I can't handle in wasabi.
I like to think that I like most everything, but there are some things I dont't like just because of the texture - custard, quiche, sometimes pudding. Also liver and tongue - just yech. But celery is great in soups or stir frys. And I just can't imagine not liking cheese - it would probably make me really thin.
I'm struggling to think of any food I dislike, maybe some of the stronger seafood like cockles and winkles. And I get upset when people smother nice food with lots of gravy or tomato ketchup. But the gravy one is hard to avoid with pub food.

I love liver, its my favourite fast day meal. And adored my mum's braised celery we used to have at Christmas - I haven't been able to recreate it.
... of popular foods I detest marshmallows, pass on them... Iced Vovos, yecchhh. And yes, whoever mentioned it: Spam and seafood sticks, a bit squarrmy for me.
Okinawans love spam. They put it on everything. It's truly bizarre. I once asked for a dish niku nashi (without meat). It came with spam. So I said 'but I asked for it niku nashi'. They said 'it's not niku, it's spam'. That says it all really.

I had a bad experience with hot dogs as a child, so I don't touch them now. I eat most things, though. My mother doesn't like peas and liver, so I grew up not eating them, so I don't know how I feel about them really. I've only ever had them in small doses. I only like cooked carrots in small doses, too. I'm not a huge fan of broccoli, but I'll eat it (I send my mom pictures of me eating broccoli--it's kind of a running joke with us). There's a few Japanese things I'm not mad about: natto is at the top of that list. Though even that I can eat with my eyes closed--it's really the texture that bothers me. I'm not mad about okra for the same reasons. Okinawans eat goya, or bitter melon. I'm not crazy for that either (it's really really bitter), but the bitterness goes away quickly, so I will eat it in a pinch. Okinawans also eat pig ears chopped finely in a salad. I try to avoid that, but I have eaten it. It's mostly just tasteless and chewy. Oh yeah, cauliflower. I can totally live without that.

p.s. I'm another celery lover.
Yuck to fish but I will eat prawns, calamari and scallops. Also yuck to liver, kidneys or any innards.
Beetroot! I cannot even stay at the same table with someone eating it.
And I do not really like shellfish or oysters, but I cannot afford them anyway ;-)

Oh dear pamico, I hope we don't get invited out together! Beetroot is my favourite, roasted and served with goat cheese-yum!
In Australia we have Beetroot with our salad, and ALWAYS on hamburgers. Maccas even advertise an Ozburger sometimes!

But back to what I hate- Anchovies, any seafood actually except fish, all offal, and any strange parts of animals!
I've never found a fruit yet that I don't love, and yes I like celery and almost all veges.
liver, kidneys, the texture I think
Isn't it interesting how different our tastes are!

There are things I will avoid if I can because of the taste - olives, coriander, capsicum (because it repeats on me) - but I hope I'll never be in a situation again where I have to eat squid in its own ink.*shudders* Rubbery and yucky doesn't even begin to cover it...
Desiccated coconut. Bounty bars! Yuck!
