Hope that went well @tickatape

Thank you  xx see above. If I can get rid of this pain in the bum (literally) I will be a happy bunny!

Better to sit on it rather than carrying a spare tyre around

I have sat on one before.... weird
@tickatape , I have a prolapsed disk in my neck, that had the bad fortune to squish inward as well as outward. The inward squish is crushing and damaging my spinal cord. My balance is now being affected because I am not receiving the feedback from my legs and feet as to where I am in the world. If I shut my eyes I fall over. I have pressure problems in my hands too, so I'm always dropping stuff, plus I have numbness, tingling and cramps in them as well. I have started to get bladder feedback problems too (I really hope the op sorts that problem out). All this on top of the horrid, continuous pain.

All I did was roll over in bed. My long hair may have been trapped under hubby or my pillow, but it just went one morning.
Julie - reading your post make me realize how fragile things are and that personal troubles comes in a whole wide range…..
Wish you all the luck with climbing quickly on that waiting list :clover: :clover: :clover:
Hugs from Sweden
Julie, how awful for you! I have disc issues in my neck too which every now and then press on a nerve so, to a much lesser degree, I know your pain! Mine usually clears up in a few months but it is horrendous at the time and impossible to get any proper sleep! I hope you get your op soon and it is a huge success. Best wishes
@julieathome I really do hope you get sorted soon! My problems stem from my lower spine. I'd suffered with a bad back but just carried on as I thought it was muscular then one day I slipped (didn't fall) on some ice - managed to carry on walking home - thought I pulled muscles in my back and leg but instead my life completely changed from that day on.
Julieathome, just dopping by to say, great news on the appointment, good luck with the waiting list, so very well done with your awesome weight loss plus I am hope that the surgeon sorts you out.You must be an agony, along with being frustrated. As a total butter fingers, I get frustrated at dropping stuff and thankfully, I don't have an ilness. You poor thing. :frown:
dropping and illness, sorry. And that is BEFORE any alcohol. lol
