Bean, keep going and you will get there xx
Thank you for your post @PennyForthem. A big one year prize for perseverance, willpower, determination and inspiration! :present:
Yay! That is seriously impressive @PennyForthem - you really are an inspiration. xxx FatDog
Fantastic and well done pennyforthem.
I tried on a pair of Jacques Vert trousers in the sale today. Size 16 fell off me! Sadly no 14's left so hey ho but hurrah!
Congrats & happy fastiversary PennyForThem! Appreciate the inspiration and encouragement.
Congratulations :like: What a great, inspirational post. I'm only a couple of months behind you and totally agree with this WOL as sustainable.

Enjoy your fastiversay
Happy fastiversary Penny, well done and doesn't it just feel great to have changed your whole mind set to say nothing of changing your knickers, and everything else, for smaller ones! Like me, and a few others, there is no need for us to still be her but it's such a lovely place that I pretend I'm helping others along the way when in reality I'm just enjoying making friends and, of course, it's lovely to think you are ACTUALLY helping others. Just wish we had a bit more sunshine in here

Congratulations and thanks for the inspiring post @PennyForthem! I hope I can say the same thing in Dec 2014!
What an inspirational post for newbies like me - really impressive, well done
Congratulations Penny! How marvellous to have achieved such a tangible goal and to see the ripple effect that sharing that achievement can have on others.
Thank you for your post PFT. I absolutely agree about the sustainability of 5:2 and our tweaking of it.I am a 2 months behind you and half way through my journey of weight loss but only at the start of a lifetime of the WOE/WOL as I know I will be tweaking/fasting in some way for the rest of my life as I now enjoy all the benefits of it ( reset appetite, need less food, lovely feeling the day after a fast, weight loss, better skin, improved self esteem, saving $$$ , healthier food choices and NO GUILT when enjoying yummy things) I'd be crazy to stop. The main factor in helping with sustainability is this wonderful forum - who needs to traipse out to a night time meeting in the rain for a half hour WW support meeting when we have support, companionship, friendship, comraderie and knowledge. Thanks @Moogie and all the wonderful Mods for the forum.

p.s Pennyforthem- any chance of some before and after pics?
I'll have to see if I can find some, which won't frighten young children too much!
Another BIG surprise!
I just thought I'd measure my 'waist' - I say 'waist' but, until a few months ago, it was just the area between boobs and hips!
I find I've lost 9 inches - almost 23cm!
My original goal was a very optimistic 30 inch (72cm) waist, but I've been realistic and made it 33, which is half my height.
I'm hoping to follow @fatdog's example and, by following a low carb way of life, shrink the waist even further! 2 inches to go, then!!
Ooooo, massive congratulations Penny, you must be feeling wonderful I know I would be, well, I would feel wonderful if I didn't feel awful with broken teeth and blocked sinuses. I bet you wish you had found this years ago, I know I do, all those wasted years doing daft things and throwing hard earned money at folk just to continually lose and gain the same fat time and time again. BUT, NO MORE, those days are gone, like my 3 st of blubber, GONE, never to return. Hooray :victory: :victory: :victory: :victory: :victory:
