Delighted or Disappointed?

Yes, a year ago I decided on the 5 2 way of life and joined here on 25 January.
My stats speak for themselves, but so does my stomach - sometimes, it spoke very loudly, above the clamour of my mind calling for sense!

Not any more! After a year, I think I have things pretty much bob on.
Let me check:

Stomach: no longer rules the roost, but neither does it feel totally ignored.

Mind: pretty much in control and happy with day to day life

Body: can do things it couldn't a year ago.

Self esteem: pretty much a 100% improvement.

So, I'd say to anyone, 'yes, it's sustainable, but see it through. If you're anything like me, you'll have ups/downs/plateaus, but don't become disheartened. One day, it may be one year, it may be two, you'll succeed.'

And then you'll really thank yourself! Just realised I have lost 25% of my start body weight!!!
Wow PFT
22:22 kgs shed!
Respec' ! xxxx
Yes, it is sustainable, and that is probably one of the best things about it. Even so: it does take some moments of 'willpower' and you can feel proud you have shown that you 'have what it takes'. :like:
What an inspiring post. Congratulations from me on a year of successful 5:2ing x
@PennyForthem - think your next pet purchase should be ....

Fab post PennyForthem - and completely true! It does wonders for one's self esteem - I'm still overweight but I feel 'normal sized' for the first time in years :-)

Nice post and congratulations on the result. and sharing it with us

Sure is sustainable
sure is easy (may not seem that way to the novice but it is, as 5 times a week you enjoy what you normally like to eat)

what are you planning on your fastiversary Penny?
Well said PFT and well done. What a year!
