back from vacation :/
21 Jul 2013, 09:11
I started 5:2 on May 11, and managed to drop a few kilos before I went on vacation in mid-June. Back from vacation now (about 5 weeks) and am back to where I started!
So a little frustrated, but then, that is what happens when you indulge a bit too much! 3 weeks or so of my vacation were spent in Colombia, so there was a lot of activity and not that much indulging, but a whole week in DC going to lunch/dinner/happy hour with friends has left its toll.
However, I did discover that some clothes were fitting better, so not a complete loss.

In any case, I'm back on the wagon this week. First fast day is Tuesday and really not looking forward to it. Also trying to give up coffee again, so this week will really be hard!

Hi there and welcome back well it sounds like you had a good time and that's what counts I think and you know how its done so get back on board on Tue and you'll soon lose whatever amount you've gained and if clothes are fitting better well done + Good Luck :clover: Sue

Hi
Just back on the wagon after only 1 week away myself and am finding it a stretch to get back into the swing of it. I will get there but it is a discipline as with unrestrained eating pattern you have more 'I'm hungry pangs'.

So hope you are doing well and don't envy giving up coffee too. Coffee is my go too luxury in the middle of the 5:2 days. Power to your resolve badtzmaru
