I nearly LIVE in skinny jeans but they must be high waisted ones, can't cope with those low slung efforts. Have bought quite a few pairs in New Look at a good price.

I'm impressed ladies!
AnnieD - Marks & Spencer sell 'jeggings' which are stretchy skinny jeans and sit on the waist which I agree is more comfortable/flattering for us older ladies. Congratulations on your impending big birthday - hope you have lots of celebrations planned
Callyanna - I agree that New Look has some great things at amazing prices

M and S also have 'shape ans sculpt' jeans which you can get in skinny or bootcut or straight, and also depending on your shape, ie hourglass or boyish, waist or no waist. I've had mine about 2 months and am never out of them. Cost about £35. They have elastane in them so don't wash with fabric softener.

Skinny jeans are great to wear with trainers/converse and to tuck into uggs, Wellies and other boots. I ony have skinny and straight leg jeans now,

Oh yes - hadn't thought of this! Normal jeans and bootcut a no-no with Uggs.
Congratulations! What a feeling it must be to fit so well into those skinny jeans!
