I'm now wearing skinny jeans !!
04 Oct 2013, 13:07
I have to share this with my fellow forum members. I have gone down from a size 16 (which was getting tight) to a comfortable size 12 and I desperately wanted to get some jeans now that winter is approaching. I went shopping with my daughter who was buying her favourite skinny jeans in New Look and I decided to try some on. I am absolutely thrilled to say that the size 12 fitted perfectly and my legs actually looked long and lean. Even when I was younger and slimmer than I am now I had broad calves and my legs are quite short, but somehow I have lost inches from all over my legs on this WOE.

I was so pleased that I have gone back and bought two more pairs in other colours!

Yay!
That is fab windsinger!
Its interesting what you said about losing weight on legs...
I have quite chunky trunks but my trousers are flapping rpund a bit when i walk!
Not quite as much as if i was wearing bell bottoms but a bit looser in the leg
Thought itwas imagination but maybe not xx
Skinny jeans! That is an achievement!well done!
#yay...fab feeling! Well done!
Congrats to you! Back in July I took all over measurements and again a few weeks ago and it proved that the fat loss occurs all over the body. Funny thing though my bicep area went up 1 inch and my calf went down 1 inch.
wayhey! brilliant! :like:

I've not dared try any skinny jeans yet, being rather short in the leg. But now you've done it I may risk it...I have some ugg-type boots that really need to be worn with skinny jeans but I've never risked it!
Fantastic result windsinger
Well done that's what I call a shopping trip
Good. Luck. :clover: Sue. :clover:
Thanks everyone

My only regret after following this WOE is that I did not take measurements everywhere when I started. I did measure waist and hips and have lost five inches from my waist, but I am sure that I have lost quite a bit from my legs and would like to know how much. I think my fingers are much thinner too!

Caroline - I have short and previously disproportionately fat legs so would never have dreamed of trying skinny jeans, but I am so glad that I did and would encourage you to do so too. The New Look ones are stretchy so they are comfortable to wear and if I say so myself they look good! My OH has been very complimentary too.

I have also bought some ankle boots to complete the look

I must stop shopping but it is so much fun when you feel good about how you look
Caroline, I think skinny jeans actually make you look taller.
Yeehah! New clothes in smaller sizes are the best motivation ever. Especially jeans
Fab fab fab!!

:-)

Exactly! Well done Windsinger! Ihave always had slim legs but couldn't wear skinny jeans because of my tummy - no need to worry about that anymore! :victory: I still have an 'aspirational' pair in a beautiful deep purple, size 11, waiting in my wardrobe for the last little extra bit to melt away...

Enjoy your new jeans!
Yaaaaay this is amazing! Enjoy the feeling...you deserve it girl!!
Well done windsinger what a great post. Smiling for you. Especially as you went back and bought more.
:victory: :rainbow: :star:

How wonderful Windsinger! So excited for you.
Well done! What did your daughter say about your new look?
