I was in two minds whether to post this or not........... Today I saw my target weight on the scales. Woooo hooooo!!!! Now, I expect it to bounce around and because my official weigh in day is Tuesday I'm not putting it on the tracker until it has stabilised and is showing on a Tuesday.

It is also my Valentines day target. If it is still the same tomorrow I will post it on that thread too.

So, listen up all you newbies and those with a long way to go........ You can do this!!!!!

I had no idea how to diet but have successfully lost 1st 7lb in 9 and a half months with the support of all you lovely people. I have faithfully stuck to 5:2 and 16:8 and daily weighing. Each to their own but that combo worked for me albeit slowly.

I am so pleased and can get into all (I think) of my clothes that were too small for me that I am going to enjoy this triumph and not change my target in the tracker for a while, then I will be confident enough to go for a bit more. I am undecided between 7lb and 1st so not sure what to set as my next goal. I will know it when I get there.

:victory:

Keep going everyone :clover:
Well Done that woman!
Yay Wendy Darling!!!! It is a great feeling when you hit THAT number for the first time, and like you say, it can go up and down a bit, though it WILL trend down and stay under there eventually! :like:

Time to Celebrate!!
very well done Wendy Darling! You deserve your success! :victory: :like:
WD that is fantastic news! Your target weight loss of around 20lb is the same as mine, and I started around a month after you, and still have some way to go - but it's so reassuring to have someone 'just ahead' succeeding with their target :victory: :like: :victory: :like:
Well done @Wendy Darling I observed and admired your persistence. You have got there yah and hip hip horray for you. Dancing a jig for you here.
Hooray! Great news! Well done!! :victory:
WendyDarling you have done sooo well...well done! If you do 16:8 all the time does that mean you don't ever have breakfast now?

I'm so pleased for you :-)
Well done, you! It's such a great achievement - both you and @silverdarling are very inspirational to many folk here.
