Missed my second fastiversary
14 Jul 2015, 18:22
Crikey....
I missed my second fastiversary. Still 12 St something body fat 35% and going down as I'm on training for a big run in September.
Update......
I never eat breakfast, (only if staying B&B )
I only occasionally eat processed carbs,
I eat when hungry,
I have full fat yoghurt, butter, cheese, can't stomach Full fat milk though.
I love experimenting with veggies
I'm not addicted to having wine mid week
Don't bother with sweets, puddings, chocolate
If I want chips I have them
I eat when hungry......did I say that already.
I love food, not scared of it, going on holiday, takeaways, getting on the scales.
It's not just about the numbers it's about learning how to eat good or better. I've swapped potato with celeriac sandwiches with salad, fruit with full fat yoghurt, rice with cauliflower. Most importantly if I don't want to eat it for whatever reason (saving space for cake) @carorees, or just not wanting it all I will leave it. I'm sorry if the "you must eat it you've paid for it " gang are upset but this is my body and I'm now IN CONTROL.

So here are two pics of me. One was three yrs ago the other last weekend.
Wow - what a change!

Thanks for all you do for us here on the forum

Congratulations on a good two years. All the best for year 3 and your running.
@Carieoates a very happy 2nd fastiversary to you. :victory: how could you forget you? Bit busy?
Apart from your running/exercise (my left knee is ailing, so I take different exercise) it seems we have shared a similar journey and our choices to make 52 work for us. :victory: Slow and steady seems a great way to take control of our lives in a mindful way and feel great.
Thanks for all you do for us, you are magical  x
You look lovely in both photos! Still can't believe that you are 12st and have 35% bf, cos you sure don't look it!

Congratulations! :)
Congrats, @carieoates! You look great!
Happy 2nd Fastiversary!
Well done you for keeping so fit, good luck with the running. :star:
You are looking very beautiful. :like:

That's exactly what I thought re pics and body fat.

I bet the scales are over-estimating... or you're measuring body fat first thing in the morning when you are a bit dehydrated?

Congratulations!
Congratulations @carieoates! Inspiration to us all.
Yes, belated congratulations on your 2nd fastiversary. You look lovely in both pics although the 2nd one looks as though it may have been taken somewhere quite posh. Love the dress. You definitely don't look 12 stone something, you are so toned, it must all be muscle. Keep up the good work with the running. I would also like to thank you for making the forum a happy place
Congratulations and thanks for being a forum regular. I couldn't follow your regime except in a one details : eat when hungry. I can't give up pudding.

My thoughts, too. Very beautiful then and now. Congraulations.
