Welcome back Wendy darling I concur with everyone else who missed your cheery self. So glad you have discovered coffee, a good one is sometime hard to find but you will find your favourite local coffee places. Well done too with knocking over that pound and all the best getting back to the routine
Welcome home, and well done on only gaining a pound and then losing it again! I'm off in a couple of weeks for one week away and I shall see what happens to me!
Glad to have you back. Didn't realise you were away. Sounds like you had a great time :) Shelley xx
Thank you Gillymary, Doodle and Amber x
Welcome back Wendy Darling! Good to have you back!

Great news on the weight control while on holiday. Not sure if discovering coffee is a good or bad thing really as too much is not good for you, but I find that coffee is a pretty good appetite suppressant. On my holidays I skipped breakfast every day and replaced it with several cups of black coffee which kept me going until lunchtime and, I'm sure, contributed to me not gaining weight while away. Mind you, I didn't get up until 10 am most days so the coffee did not have to sustain me for very long!
Wow Wendy that's amazing two+half weeks I'd have probably gained a stone in weight :like: thanks for the inspiration and hope that on my next holiday about 4weeks to go I can do similar , because in May I could tell from my clothing I'd gained + got water retention very bad so didn't get on scales for 8 days by then back to pre holiday weight, also only been on this WOL for 4weeks and have learned so much in the meantime, probably do things differently. Well done :clover: Sue
Thanks Sue and what's more, another 1lb has gone too. Honestly, I had no plan and didn't know how it would go but I naturally ate mindfully. I had whatever I liked but not huge portions and only had two meals per day, sometimes this led to 16:8 if I got up late. Yes, you will have found your feet in time for this upcoming holiday. Have a good time and enjoy the food and drink, even if you gain a small amount you will know how to get rid of it quickly afterwards and anyway, you can't put on lbs worth of fat in a week or two
