Delighted or Disappointed?

I am so relieved that I have lost the weight I put on the previous two weeks which was one pound each week. I am sure it was too much indulgence with wine & a few cakes as well as eating out more often. Because I lose weight slowly, usually one pound each week, I apparently really have to eat below my TDEE & cannot be very self indulgent. I am hoping now to have lost four pounds by the end of May
Great news Isis! :star: Good things come to those who wait! I find your attitude and patience amazing! I have been one of the lucky ones who has lost weight a bit over the average, not without trying, but not putting in a huge amount of effort either. I don't think I would have hade the perseverance to stick with it if I hadn't seen quick results, so hats off to you. Are you feeling any other benefits, other than weight loss?
Nice one Isis! :victory:
a pound a week is the average so it's not that slow! ;)
still, keep at it and give us real slow coaches something to aim for
Thank you Dhana & Janeg my knees feel better with losing weight, I have mildish arthritis in them & take a daily Ibuprofen. I do get frustrated with my slow progress because I would like to lose four stone more to get to within my recommended weight range. Walking can be painful after a couple of miles & I had to stop yoga because I can't kneel anymore but I do salsasise dancing which I enjoy. I will be here for the long term trying to lose weight so I have to try & be patient & stick with it but now my OH has joined me in 5:2ing so hopefully onwards & downwards.
well done and gambatte, as they say in Japan (keep up the good work, more or less)!
Just re-read your post and realised that I thought your 2and a half pound loss was your total since beginning - sorry  she says, on her way to kitchen to make a much needed espresso!
can I have one too please (espresso)
