I do genuinely eat and drink what I like on non-fast days and have been losing weight so far, but I guess it is still relatively early days for me (6 weeks)...
I agree with Ballerina though about peoples definitions of eating what they like... I don't have a sweet tooth or eat junk food, so I am quite a healthy eater. My problem is portion control and alcohol...
I love this diet as it means I am not sacrificing anything...
Lets hope it keeps up!

I have just eaten a really yummy lunch that would be banned on probably all diets, or if not I would have used up my whole allowance of this or that for the week. I'll probably eat a bit lighter tonight, but I don't feel guilty or that I have blown it and should give up - and the weight is creeping downward. I am sure there are lots of people 5:2 ing in this way and losing weight.
